Minimalistic Album Art

This was a series of images I did as part of an exploration into combining art with music. I utilized pre-existing art and influence from other artists to create these.

Coloring Book - Chance the Rapper

I personally love this album and decided to create it in the minimalistic style because as Chance is coming into his own as a musician, I am coming into my own as an artist.

Cleopatra - The Lumineers

I was inspired to do this album by the greyscale color scheme and iconic focal point. I felt that this would be an album that would be easily recognizable because of these traits.

God's Hand - Hot Sugar

I included this cover so as to include some of the lesser-known albums that I liked to contrast the more popular ones that made up the rest of the series.

Run The Jewels 3 - Run the Jewels

I did this cover because the original cover is so iconic, plus I'd seen similar renditions of their earlier albums. The colors were the hardest part of this piece.

Vessel - Twenty One Pilots

This is another cover that is very iconic in itself. The color scheme of this cover sticks out as being very light, cool colors that contrast much of the music of the album.
